It been awhile since my last post. Lots of thing have happened. Lisa surgery and recovery has taken up a lot of time. We went to Pensacola, Fla just for something to do. It got Lisa moving again and she could see the end of the tunnel so to speak.
I would get a little done on the boat here and there. Every project turn in to not a can or worms but a bucket full. Got the new bimini up and the solar panels working. The little Yanmar wasn't pumping water. Can't run the motor without water. Well after changing the impeller and flushing the system she still wouldn't pump water. I found the ball valve broken and wouldn't open. I ended up connecting the sink drain out let. Funny thing that ball valve is broken in the open position. Well now I've got plenty of water running through the motor and she is purring like a kitten.
I did have to drain the 5 gallons of fuel out of the tank, installed two fuel filter and new fuel bulb. Sure hope I don't have to overhaul the motor anytime soon.
I have an appointment Monday so maybe early next week we can shove off for a few day. That would be nice. I am going to borrow a friends outboard just in case. I'll post photos if we go.
